I just tried out these SureFire EarPro Sonic Defenders EP3 Variable Noise Reduction Shooter's Ear Plugs (NRR 11-24). Tested at 100 mph. Works great! Significantly reduces wind noise better than the HEAROS foam ear plugs, very comfortable, and I can hear Motorhead clearly playing on the UClear Pulse drop in helmet speakers. I ride a Street Triple and wear a Shoei RF-1200 with all vents open and chin curtain installed. Result may vary depending on your helmet and ears. I ride daily so if they last a year I will be happy,

I have hard to fit ears and these plugs are absolutely perfect! They block sound quite well and don’t budge once you get them in place.

These ear plugs are excellent technology. I work as a tradesman, and I needed a wayt o protect my ear drums from damage but still be able to hear my co workers. The sonic ear defendors work perfectly. I do not do alot of product reviews unless they meet an advanced level of satisfaction. Buy them. They are worth every penny.

I purchased these to cut down wind noise when riding my motorbike. I used the Sizing Guide and ordered a Small Size and a Medium Size. I found the Small size too small. I also found them quite fiddly to correct insert because the plastic is soft. However, when correctly inserted they are terrific for cutting down the wind noise. Regards,

Absolutely the best earplugs on the market! You can hear everything around you while being protected from massive cracks and bangs. I never leave home without them for work or just around the yard, mowing or trimming. Once you find the size for you, it is heaven.

Excellent hearing protection! More comfortable than regular headsets and I definitely recommend this product. When I'm at the shooting range people can't see them and always tell me to wear hearing protection...I show them and they don't believe it!

I tested the earplugs at the shooting range...amazing!!!!! The noise reduction was great and since I wear glasses they feel much more comfortable than the ones that look like old earphones. Great product!!!!

Son shoot trap and feels they are almost as good as head set, and alot more comfortable.

Got a pair mainly for motorcycle riding. Since it's the winter season, I haven't used them for that yet but I did use them for shooting my gun a few times. Worked great!

Takes a bit of work adjusting the fit and learning how to set them in your ear. Once figured out tho, these plugs work very well, especially for the price.

These ear plugs are great. They fit nicely and work well to dampen the sound of riding or using the lawn mower. Buy them!

We bought them at Texas Trophy Hunting Extravaganza. I wasn't sure how they fit in. But thanks to your video they are comfortable & I am happy! U recommend this product!

These are very easy to put in and take out. Cant wait to try them when i go duck hunting in my blind

Very good protection, as I suffer from tinnitus. Easy to use & comfortable.

Only one problem I have with them is getting them situated correctly in my ears. It takes a lot of fiddling with them, but when finally they get settled, they do a very good job of blocking noise if you use the little teeny covers to cover up the small hole in each plug.

1. The fit is great, they stay in. 2. The comfort is excellent. You forget you have them on. 3. The sound reduction is very good. 4. Only one problem, the little "stopper" on one of them came out and I cannot find it. You have to be careful and not use this to pull on when removing them. Wish the design retained the stoppers better when not in use.

Bought these to replace basic earplugs. The EP3's are super comfortable and fit perfectly. The noise reduction was perfect, wore them for about 3 hours straight and didn't have any discomfort.

Wore these ear plugs to the sporting clay range yesterday & was happy with my recent purchase. I wore them for around 3 hours, they were so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them. They provided enough protection with the stoppers out for me to shoot without my ears hurting & were great for conversations between stands. Highly recommend these ear plugs. Great ear protection for an amazing price!!!

I tried these out on the weekend, as I got them for an actual tactical earpiece rather than Hearing Protection and I must say they work really well with an acoustic tube and are very comfortable. I used these for upwards of 6 hours and was amazed at how well they fit, well worth what they cost, am putting a few friends onto them.

Excellent product. Sized to fit your ear canal adds to long wearing comfort while affording sound protection as well as ones ability to carry on normal conversation when in use.

I have a small ear canal, so my ear bud headphones and the foam ear plugs fall out. I hate using a ear muff because of the bulky-ness. These fit great and don't move thanks to the use of the helix bowl fitment. Used them around the shop grinding and cutting metal, worked great! Then this weekend I went skeet shooting and wore them. Very comfortable and recommended!

I got them to be able to hear quail fly, yet protect my hearing. Although they reduce the sound of a shotgun blast by maybe 30% they also eliminate any possibility of hearng quail get up.

I've tried the Small Size sonic defender. I have smallish ear canals, and it could be that my right ear canal is different than my left ear canal. I had trouble keeping the plugs in my ears, especially my right ear. I'd put it in and it would stay in place, but after about 5-30 minutes it works itself loose. I don't know if my ears are at fault or if I just got a bad set. I've also tried the Medium EP4 Sonic defender Plus. The medium size is too big for me, so I don't think the problem with the EP3 has to do with the small size. When in place, the plugs worked great for reducing noise while allowing me to talk. I also love how low profile these are. When people have noticed them, some thought they were hearing aids. They make me appear less anti-social than when I wear other types of plugs. I work in customer service on a casino floor and am sensitive to the overly loud music but I need to be able to talk to guests. With the Ep3 I could even use a cell phone with no problem because it was recessed into my ear and I could hear well with it. If these plugs stayed in my ear I'd give them 5/5 because they are just what I need, too bad they won't stay in place. Maybe some day I'll buy another pair and see if it works better.
