These are advertised as "Shooter's Ear Plugs" but they just don't cut it for small arms. They let the highs through and I still have tinnitus days after. I followed the instructions to fit them but they still don't work. The capped filter concept is interesting and I had high hopes but if the flanges can't keep sound out it doesn't matter.

I’ve used these motorcycle riding and when mowing the lawn. They are comfortable, stay in place well, and reduce the noise levels a great deal.

I've used these under a Shoei neotec with the full plug. Nice fit, good performance and they remained as comfy to use as my regular foam plugs. I thought perhaps the extra structure would interfere with the helmet but not at all for me!

These are great ear plugs and are very comfortable. The stoppers are not attached so if you pull one out and drop it, it's most likely gone. I dropped the clear one and took 30 minutes to find it. They also look goofy with the lanyard attached. Not a good design. So if you don't open the stoppers and don't use the lanyard...they are great.

Very comfortable with good noise reduction. Use under muffs for hi power rifle.

I was very good. It seems a bit weird in the first night of sleep but i got used to this after few nights. I used it just to sleep and i don't need the Open/Close things which comes with this one. In my opinion this little option to Open/Close makes the Earplug a bit big and it touch the pillow when i am in bed. Maybe it should be smaller. Probably i bought the wrong one but i am very happy and it is amazing if you want to study and work because any noise disturb you and it is very comfortable.

I have worn foamies for years being in the military and in civilian life. Now I work security at concerts and wish that I would of made the investment to buy these years ago. I leave the stoper out and can hear everything perfectly and as soon as the noise gets to loud the earplug limits the noise low enough as not to be damaging to the eardrum. I also use a ARC surveillance tube kit pluged into the one side with the internals removed and can hear radio communication perfectly. Stop thinking about it and just buy them already!

Plugs came in a timely manner & they fit perfect. They perform well for target shooting. Would order from this company again.

These ear plugs are comfortable , easy to insert in ears and work great with large caliber handguns like a .45 ore .357. Great buy for the money.

Comfortable to wear, not getting in the way of my shooting glasses. Good attenuation for outdoor pistol shooting. Will probably double up for indoor use, but just because I am paranoid about hearing loss.

Have been using full size muffs including Raidan Electornic muffs. Started having issue with one of the electronic sets which spawned me to look for an alternate set. Seen these online and was interested in a low profile item that would also be cooler in the summer as well as indoors. These REALLY work well. Haven't used them with the little plugs inserted but in an indoor range with hand cannons to either side it dampens very well. No pain in the ears. Cannot hear conversations crystal clear as with electronic sets but I also feel these cutoff/dampen even better than my expensive electronic set. With care & the occasional range use I am sure these will last longer than 6months. Wife liked them so much we ordered her a pair the other day.

Love the earplugs! Small and fit well. Very effective to block sound of gunfire yet allow for range instructions and conversation.

These plugs fit great can wear for hours. They work well when shooting and can still hear a conversation I wont get a different kind.

They fit well & are color coded I guess for left & right. I can hear conversation easily & yet feel well protected from the gun noise.

I use these at work and they work very well. I can still hear when someone is talking in a normal voice, but when there is a loud noise, it doesn't bother me. They are also more comfortable than other plugs.

My cousin used a pair pheasant hunting and loved them so I tried a pair for coyote hunting. I can still hear about everything except high pitches. Great for pistols, shotguns smaller rifles such as .22 mag, 223, .270 and .308 single shot is fine, anymore than that I would go with my active headphones. bought a pair for my hunting buddy for Christmas.

i bought these to try on a Duck Hunt i went to over the weekend 11-11-11 and they performed well, only con was they were not able to wear for over about 4 hours to let you rest from getting sore, i chose the medium size.

I have used several different ear plugs over the years shooting IDPA. These are the most comfortable ear plugs I have found for the money. They block out the percussion from .45, while still being able to hear safety officer commands clearly.

These rock! I've shot competitively for 30 years and with standard ear plugs or a head set it's hard to hear range officials or other shooters. Sure Fire solves this problem. I could hear my wife while shooting at home and she has a real soft voice. I can hear everybody at the range yet I could stand next to a shooter and be extremely comfortable. I carry a handgun at work so now I wear a pair while working and keep a spare pair in my truck. I'm really impressed with them.

My ear canals are either small or odd shaped, so I've always had trouble finding ear plugs that will stay in. The foam types are usually worthless. These, however, work great on blocking out noise levels and I'm very glad I found them. I plan to buy another set.
